At 17, I went to sea – and that decision filled my life with the kind of stories that most people only read about in books.

My maritime career didn’t just give me experience; it gave me a treasure trove of tales from history’s most dramatic moments. Today, I bring these stories to life through speaking engagements that transport audiences back to the decks of Nelson’s flagship, the beaches of Normandy, and the miracle of Dunkirk.

I’m a storyteller at heart, weaving together historical maritime events with the human drama, courage, and ingenuity that defined these pivotal moments. Whether I’m recounting the strategic brilliance behind the Battle of Trafalgar or the extraordinary circumstances of the Dunkirk evacuation, my goal is simple: to make history come alive.

My presentations typically run 45-90 minutes with plenty of time for Q&A, because the best stories always spark great conversations. I’m comfortable speaking to intimate groups or large conferences, and I travel worldwide to share these captivating tales from our maritime past.
